My Future

This SF article about living small with teenagers. Good god, can you imagine? I can, but it's more like a nightmare. I grew up in a double-wide trailer home with three...or sometimes five...siblings. Let's just say I like a little elbow room now, as an adult. I think it's important for everyone to have their space, Western Civ construct or no. How can you ensure that everyone has space in a low-space house?

hmmm...it's a challenge. I think having as little Stuff as possible so that spaces can have multiple uses. Screens, room dividers, multi-purpose rooms all can help. That said, the family I know who has four kids in a small space gave one of the bedrooms exclusively to the actual teenager in the house.
